Who is it for?

Cronometer suits you if

  • Micronutrients matter to you: iron, magnesium, vitamins and the quality of your food data.
  • You want a capable free tier with a barcode scanner.
  • You want to log on the web as well as the phone, or use Garmin, Suunto or Polar.

Sweatmeal suits you if

  • Your main question is how much to eat today given the training you did, including carbohydrate around sessions and races.
  • You want a race calendar that lifts carbs before an event.
  • You want the target to ease when a wearable shows low recovery.

How Sweatmeal works

Sweatmeal reads your training from Whoop, Oura, Strava, Ultrahuman or Apple Health, sets the day's calorie and macro target from it, and never drops the target below your resting metabolic rate. Protein is set from lean mass, and your burn estimate is refined from your weight trend. The full calculation is on the methodology page.
